2026 · FROM THE DESK OF GROWTHMOG
If you run an independent shop, here is what I believe happened to you over the last fifteen years, without anybody announcing it.
The referral moved. It used to travel across a fence, a church parking lot, a deer camp. Your granddaddy’s reputation was infrastructure. Then every one of your future customers put a supercomputer in their pocket, and the first question they ask when a car breaks stopped being “who do you know?” and became “what’s close and open?” — asked silently, to Google, in about four seconds.
The chains understood this early. They don’t fix cars better than you. They document better than you. They have somebody whose whole job is photos, hours, reviews, and listings — while you were under a Silverado doing the actual work.
That always struck me as backwards, and fixable. So this company does exactly one thing: it makes the internet tell the truth about good independent shops. Not hype. The truth — that you’re there, you’re open, you’re trusted by your neighbors, and you’ll treat a stranger’s Camry like a regular’s.
No contracts, because my granddaddy would’ve called a 12-month marketing contract what it is. No jargon, because you’d see through it. And no clients we can’t make money for, because in a small town — and the South is a small town — reputation is still the only currency that compounds.
Call the number. I’ll tell you what’s broken for free. What you do after that is your business. Literally.
